Saw Hot Chip Saturday night at Terminal 5. The concert was fun, but there were no surprises. Hot Chip makes ambient, electronic music. It was cool to see Hot Chip translate their recorded sound into a live band. Nothing disappointing, nothing overwhelming.
Last night, I saw Okkervil River at Webster Hall. The band sold out the venue for two nights. Don’t have much to say here. Music is a matter of personal taste. After several chances, I just haven’t caught the fever for Okkervil River.
