The Dirty Projectors - “Useful Chamber”
Bitte Orca, The Dirty Projectors’ new album, is one of the most imaginative and challenging listens this year. There’s an out-of-whackness to the time signature, a prickliness to the guitars, something alien about the background vocals. Yet it all totals to one beautiful mess. I wish more music was made of this ilk.
